Life Coaching
What is it?
Life coaching is present and future focused. It is a partnership between the Coach and the individual to collaboratively work together to achieve goals. The process is thought provoking, inspiring, and helps to empower the individual to maximize personal and professional potential.
Coaching can include:
* Reframing perspectives from life experiences
* Increasing your emotional wellbeing; managing emotions.
* Setting and achieving life goals
* Working through a significant life transition; making life changes
* Breaking cycles within patterns of living that have impacted you and your family.
* Learning a new skill
What it is not.
It is not mental health therapy. It does not treat mental health symptomology that meet diagnostic criteria.
